I would like to invite you all to the 14th Annual Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Breakfast! This beloved annual event serves as a way to reflect on the life and legacy of Dr. King, as well as to provide a space for the audience to discuss ways in which we can collectively continue his legacy.
14th Annual Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Breakfast
Thursday, January 21, 2021
9 - 11 a.m.
Livestream via MSC WBAC Facebook and Instagram
( https://www.facebook.com/BlackAwareness https://www.instagram.com/msc_wbac/)
FREE & OPEN to the public!
For our 2021 breakfast, we will have the pleasure of having Jane Elliott as our keynote speaker!
Jane Elliott, internationally known teacher, lecturer, diversity trainer, and recipient of the National Mental Health Association Award for Excellence in Education, exposes prejudice and bigotry for what it is, an irrational class system based upon purely arbitrary factors.
She will be interviewed LIVE by our very own Dr. Michael Collins, Department of English. Additionally, you will have the chance to ask questions while viewing the anticipated conversation through MSC WBAC’s Facebook and Instagram live streams!
