Another tragic killing of a Black person (in Texas) in their home. Atatiana Jefferson, was recently shot and killed in her home after playing video games with her nephew. What is going on in Northern Texas?
The video below is the latest press conference.
I will be covering this incident on my news blogs and other developments about the Botham Jean and Joshua Brown killings. This society is sick and shows depraved indifference to Black life. I will not let what happened to Atatiana Jefferson go by the wayside.
I will use every effort I can with other people of good will to change the ethos and dynamics in our country where Black people are killed in their homes, then maligned, and exposed to a criminal injustice system. The mainstream media may stop covering this killing in a short time. However we will cover it until we see a just outcome.
Chris Williams, is a young man who was homeless -- however today he is the youngest Subway Franchise owner in ATL. Get the scoop on how he overcame homelessness to become a promising entrepreneur.
Hey Fam, can you do me a favor? I started this group, with other positive brothas, because I wanted to promote love, respect, and understanding between Black men and women. Some brothas contribute poetry, others witty wisdom, business or social successes of sistahs, and others even enlightening information.
I see so much negative activity on social media pitting Black men and women against each other also promoting divisiveness and acrimony between our kings and queens. I wanted to make a change in my own way no matter how small.
We'll never achieve economic, political, and social parity and empowerment without love and respect between us. Everybody can't relate to what I'm saying or some don't even care.
However if misogynist against Black women can have followings of over half a million people on YouTube and social media groups, we can have a viable if not popular spot where we lift up and show case the tremendous contributions of our Black women?
So if you know some Brothas or Sistahs who'd you like to invite to add to the love please send them and invite them to this group. Thanks Fam.
