Broadcast producer and moderator since 1985 as my life work. OUR COMMON GROUND has enhanced the national conversation on race and Black people discussing critical issues, radical ideas and solutions to break the chains of white supremacy with vigor and passion for and about our people.
There are few outstanding Black scholars, journalists, authors commentators, activist and change~makers who we have not discussed the urgency of our liberation for our full 2-hour episodes. Our journey began in 1985 in community radio and moved onto the internet platform in 2009. Our discussions drill down into the substance of history, solutions, impediments and intent. There is no 15-minute of fame moments at OUR COMMON GROUND. Many of our Voices you will know through their work and activism struggling toward solutions and ideas and the notion of not leaving one behind.
We are active on Twitter @JaniceOCG. Our YouTube Channel can be found here: OCGJanice Graham and features some of our work.
We sponsor five distinct FB Pages which target specialized issues and they are planned to move to this platform:

A St Ann MO kkkop pulled a car over on a traffic violation, said the PASSENGER didn’t comply, refusing to raise his hands (you can see this LIE), unlock the door or open the window. The passenger was unable to comply because he was unable to get out on his side because of the crash. He was released with NO CHARGES.
Another day being Black in America? This is where you have no rights if the kkkops decide your don't.
There is a great urgency about this particular disparity. We have to connect the dots to other medical racial disparities such as cancer treatment, diabetes treatment and drug costs. Connect the dots. There is no question that the features of white supremacy and racial oppression are at work here.
Recent attacks on mosques, synagogues and churches, many houses of worship should be cause for more vigilance as Ramadan begins tonight. Security procedures should be put into place. Be safe as you approach these most holiest of days. Ramadan Mubarak to my Muslim friends and comrades.
