When I see Black folk on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram... we are the most social people. I wonder why when I come to black social networks like this, there is no social behavior present. All I see is spam for the most part. The purpose of social networks is to engage. On white media this is abundant. Why is it so different on Black media.
Yea, I know, not as advanced as Facebook. We don't have military nerds working day and night to perfect code like mainstream websites, but I wonder if that could eventually be the case if we took black platforms seriously.
The app for this site deserves at least a 4.0 rating, but we love putting black down while still complaining we need black-owned. The behavior is contradictory and unfortunately, at the root of our problems, we don't really want to see black enterprise excel. Self-hate!
Tons of posts with no engagement. It's sad going to black social networks. Everyone pretends they want them and when we got it - BOOM! Not good enough! Then talmbout the white man keeping us down which is why we can't win. Yea, that's partly true but we have to realize we play an intricate role in keeping ourselves behind. Wake up people! Please. Invite your family and friends and embrace black EVERYTHING! No excuses! One love.
