In 1921, in a small town just outside of Tulsa OK, many African Americans were slaughtered. Why is this different than any other lynching during that time? Because, this was a town that was completely self-sufficient and all of it's residents were very affluent and free African Americans. the town was so wealthy, that it was known as "Black Wallstreet. The loss of life was staggering. Contrary to modern belief, this was the biggest act of Terrorism this country has seen to this day, and it was domestic.
