For any of us to grow economically and build our economic infrastructure is to look how the Black Wall Street back in the 20's were so successful. Even though Black wall street was destroyed due to white racism, to say the least, we can learn from what happened back then. We have to involve ourselves in business opportunities that would meet our essential needs and then to patronize and invest in each other's business enterprises. It will have a reciprocal effect in building us up in all directions.
I have a number of interest that I'm involved in and if I could have the majority of my FB family and friends participate, I would be in the position to reciprocate and empower those who have help me to get to that position. The problem we have is we do not patronize each other. Instead, we would go to any other ethnicity outside of our own and give them our business when we should be doing that for ourselves. That is the model that Black Wall Street held. What we did back then, we can do it now, but this time we won't be as vulnerable to be taken down the way Wall Street has suffered.
