On Monday November 26, 2018 each of you have the opportunity to BE THE LEADER, the great people of North Carolina and America deserve by voting:
“No” on Mr. Thomas Farr for a life-time appointment, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina.
BE THE LEADER and oppose the 38- year legal career of Mr. Farr restricting voting rights and defending employment discrimination. As the Congressional Black Caucus wrote in a letter last month opposing Mr. Farr’s nomination.
BE THE LEADER and side with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Which concluded that Mr. Farr’s aggressive defense of North Carolina’s massive voter suppression law passed in 2013 in the wake of the Supreme Court’s Shelby County v. Holder decision was passed with discriminatory intent…the law “target African Americans with almost surgical precision.”
BE THE LEADER and stand with the AFL-CIO opposed to Mr. Farr’s nomination for his defense of employers and corporations charged with employment discrimination throughout his legal career, and fought efforts to create safe working conditions.
BE THE LEADER and vote “No” on Mr. Thomas Farr for a life-time appointment, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina.
