Should Black People Take A Different Approach Towards Progress? | #inspiring black films
SELECTED BY 2020 CAPITAL CITY BLACK FILM FESTIVAL - Black People - What We've Been Told May Not Be True. Black communities around the world have historically maintained the highest rates of extreme violence, sickness, disease epidemics, abject poverty, corruption, discrimination, and racism than any other race in human history. Why?
Director and inspirational speaker Wayne C. Robinson joins Black professionals in medicine, psychology, relationship counseling, life coaching, accelerated learning, and theology who draw the same conclusion – Black people are not getting to the truth as to why these conditions exist.
The film identifies these truths why so many Black communities around the world experience identical conditions and why Black leaders fail to present them for the socioeconomic progress of the people they are supposed to represent.
The recent protests raging in Black communities are a repeat of the 1960's protests. Here we are again, fifty years later. These protests are merely a signal of an era of futile government programs, political rhetoric, religious dogmas and cultural disintegration.
THE DREAMS LIVE ON film is a call to action to "do something different" and take a different approach as this current road is taking Black communities in circles. This “different approach” may be mocked by religious and political leaders because their tactics and methodologies have been disappointing.
This new approach is the same approach that successful people all around the world have taken. It is the same approach that we see featured in rags to riches stories. It is the same approach that strengthens startup companies to become multi billion dollar corporations, and the same approach that creates new industries.
THE DREAMS LIVE ON film is the new approach for people of African descent to reach their highest potential, take control of their destiny, and live the life of their dreams.
THE DREAMS LIVE ON was filmed on location in Austin, Texas and Atlanta, Georgia.

African American Filmmaker Wayne C. Robinson has completed a documentary film that is positioned as a remedy for Black communities that are continually challenged with racism, poverty, unemployment, disease epidemics and crime.
The provocative film, THE DREAMS LIVE ON™, features personal development pros or “mentors” who present credible evidence that Blacks worldwide have been ignored when it comes to success principles that work.
“I have noticed that the seeds of known success principles and strategies embraced by successful people and organizations are not being introduced to Black communities around the world to remove the challenges that continue to show up from one generation to another. I believe that this film and other INSPIRE projects will play an integral part in establishing programs that will produce better results than we’ve seen in the past 50 years.” – Producer Wayne C. Robinson
The film’s cast will share their wisdom with audiences that hunger to live a better life, accumulate wealth, find the love of their life, discover and work in their perfect career, understand
and apply spiritual principles, live in a nicer neighborhood, own a business or accomplish anything they truly desire.
“I believe that God has given each of us talents that we are to use towards the betterment of the world,” said Robinson. “If we do not use those talents, as mentioned in the Bible, he gives them to somebody else. In other words, seeds of greatness are withering away due to lack of knowledge. ‘INSPIRE’ will certainly showcase the path to claiming and using those talents to create a better world for us all.”
The cast features an array of experts: Dr. Maiysha Clairborne, a practicing medical physician; Dr. William Coleman, a theologian; James P. Griffin, Jr., a licensed behavioral counselor; Dr. Torri Hornsby-Griffin, a relationship expert; Millicent St. Claire, an accelerated learning trainer; Sherry Ransom, a Life Reinvention Specialist; Roland Kemokai, a Personal Empowerment Specialist; Victor Antonio, a motivational speaker, corporate sales trainer and television host, and Jackie Lewis, a Caribbean resort and spa owner.
Wayne Robinson Productions has partnered with Copybook Films and Ego Sheriff Films to produce the film which was shot in several exotic locations in the United States, Jamaica, United Kingdom, Thailand, Malaysia and India.
Why do you think there’s such a disparity between the rich and the poor, between those who succeed and those who fail? We’ve discovered their secrets, and we’re going to share them with you to help you change your life. - Robinson
