I fully agree with Vanessa suing the companies AND the pilot for this unfortunate incident. I also agree with the companies suing the air traffic controllers; THEY should have demanded he land that plane; I dont' care what clearance he got in Orange County, they should've told him This is Los Angeles; it's unsafe - land the plane ... now.

Each person who signs up for a social network such as this, has to be OKAY with Posting, even if no one else see's what you post. It's great when people come and set a page up - but when they return right back to facebook, or twitter, then what good was it? This is common with most 'alternative social networks' - somehow we have to find a way, to Encourage people to Make conserted efforts to keep consistently using the OTHER networks. Far too many just want to use what's popular
A Repost from my fb and my www.nu.network page:::
I have an extensive history of Promoting alternative social networks; the hold up, continues to be the rest of society, always 'following' celebrities .... (Rant coming in 3 .... 2 .... 1 ....)
head asses..... ::: I digress; this is from 5 years ago now; when I was promoting the Original TSU; (They got a new version, I am slackin, need to sign up; hit my girl Charnelle Boyer for a link tho!) ::: but yea ... the POINT here ... is WE still have the power, to empower social media networks.
WE are the value; we are the reason a network is what it is; fb wouldn't be nothing with out all of us here; So 'we' can go and take 'our talents' to ANY platform; and be great; esp when this one won't allow us to.
Using a alternative youTube platform to share an old video with you now; This is also on my YouTube channel, but the 'alternate' one, runs on the Blockchain, And let me sync up my channel; so any NEW content I post to youTube also goes here; and they pay in Crypto Excited about that
Meanwhile, the creators of GuapCoin - a black owned cryptocurrency that's on a tear right now as well :: have Nu.network - that all of us should be using; daily - please let me know if you are already on there so we can connect --
And yesterday I learned they got a New Myspace; the Same OLD layout as back in the day; Love the nostalgia of that already; I did set up a page on there; love they even let you customize your page like back in the day; already it's pretty active -- and that's what inspired this post today...
The difference between a Nu.Network, a TSU, a Crazygood --- or a "SpaceHey" ... is how people USE or do not USE the platform;
Same can be said for Discord --- > It's VERY popular with gamers, and cryptocurrency communities who understand the value of having a place to talk about what matters to YOU ::: but for some reason, I've had a challenging time moving my Family to it; got a couple servers set up, that folks barely get on :::
BUT I bet a lot of them running to Clubhouse :: bet they on there Having talks, doing the SAME thing they were invited to do on Discord, but won't do it because No Celebrities are promoting discord..... It's wild how that goes.
In fact; a lot of the SAME people who said they were tired of Zoom calls; been LOVING clubhouse - when again - VERY similar concepts; the only real difference is "WHO" promotes it.
This is why TikTok blew up; because Celebrities endorsed it; This is why Crazygood never blew up; ONLY Steve Harvey promoted it, but sadly none of HIS celebrity friends did. Same with TSU; literally No famous people promoted it; LL had one; Fabulous had one; I think 50cent had one too; BUT they didn't really go hard and tell their followers to follow them on TSU;
SpaceHey on the other hand, seems to have the "OTHER" motivation going for it; Known as "digital White Flight" ::: it's what initially made Facebook and Twitter 'more popular' than Myspace.
The goal of getting 'away' from all the negros, isn't limited to where people live; it's also part of where people socialize online; this is why Reddit tends to be more popular, with whites -> it's why most of you never even heard of VSCO :: it's why Parler took off so fast - It's also what drives a lot of the 'blockchain based' social media platforms, that also tend to be overwhelmingly white - as they are seemingly mostly into using platforms, that don't have a whole lot of you ghetto blacks on there ... (in their minds) ....
Lately, I've seen a lot of my people pat themselves on the back for what we have done to MAKE these other social networks popular; esp that latest report on ClubHouse ::: many were upset, that we made another white owned company Billions ::: the same ole 'we should start our own social media' conversation came up; Me and a few others said 'we already got our own social media sites, WE just not using them!' --- > and once again, that convo has died down.
Because the truth is, our people are really stuck on following celebrities; more so than whites; if a celebrity tells us to get on TikTok and do a dance; we do it; then after we go viral doing it, others start copying and doing it too; and we get to feeling like we influenced them; when really they doin it for the social clout; piggybacking on what's gonna get them more views --> while they continue using alternative social networks, that none of US are hip to.
One day, perhaps Ja Rule ... or Snoop ... will tell us to get off facebook and twitter; maybe one day they'll tell us to look into a private discord server where you and your people can talk about anything without being censored or banned for what you said; or suspended; or jailed; Maybe one day Pharell will tell us about using blockchain based social media platforms that also pay us in crypto;
Because frankly, that's all we listen to - that's who we follow; maybe some day we'll stop doing that too ....
