White folks often ask me why black people are angry. It appears that slavery was 150 years ago and we should be over it, even though we are still taught to remember the Alamo in every American in every elementary school in America. I have been asked so many times I decided to put America on trail and present irrefutable evidence of systematic racism since 1619.
The criminal justice system of these United States judges entities and individuals alike, based upon their record. Once a pattern of criminal behavior has been established, said pattern is entered into evidence establishing motive and intent. Unfortunately, these same United States have not been held to the same standard in regard to its treatment of black people over a period of 3.97 centuries. But we are going to put the United States on trail right here on Black Junction.
I hereby present the following as evidence of systematic racism for which there is no logical argument:
The Prison Leasing System: Slavery by Other means
Jim Crow Laws of Segregation 1890-1965
The destruction of Black Wall Street
The Secret Testing of Mustard Gas on Minorities During WWII.
Post WWII Federal Home Loan Caused Economic Boom that Built Wealth for Whites While Blacks We're Excluded and “Red Line” by the Federal Government
The 40 year experiment allowing syphilis to go untreated and hence spread among Blacks
The denial of federally mandated civil rights until 1964, voting rights until 1965 and anti-discrimination rights until 1968
The fact that lynching was legal under federal law in America until 1968
Nixon’s “War on drugs” targeted the Black community with the express purpose of disrupting it.
The modern day equivalent of prisoner leasing. Still Slavery by Other Means
Black men go to prison disproportionately to white men and are sentenced to longer terms for the same crimes
The Racial Wealth Gap
The reason racism endures is because it is very lucrative.
Which brings us to the current and unbridled violence against unarmed black people perpetrated by police, without consequence.
