I'm just getting the chance to see this movie and I'm speechless. Not because I haven't been acutely aware of how justice varies based on race and/or socioeconomic status, but because few understand the importance of helping others to care enough to put their asses on the line with us.
As a therapist, It's hard to admit that when it comes to the work of social/racial justice, I too have felt hopeless.

My Take-a-ways: a. Hope is at the foundation of change. b. Hope without action is insufficient.
c. Having the courage to step fully into your purpose can be life-changing to you and everyone you encounter.

If you haven't seen it, then you can rent it for free throughout the month of June on Amazon Prime. It's definitely worth the watch.
