Am I wrong for promoting BLACK OWNED BUSINESSES (established or striving to establish) on my podcast. I'm passionate about film and photography and would love to direct my own movie one day as well as build my very own production company and cast all black casts for my tv shows and movies..#everythingblack but, due to me not having the funds necessary to fully establish myself, I've started small in order to build and establish with support while supporting and a podcast is technically a segway into the world of directing in my opinion.
I asked if I'm wrong for promoting BLACK OWNED BUSINESSES because I was "put in my place" by a few people about "inciting racism" but promoting businesses of a certain color.

You are asking the question to a very biased panel. But it's
never wrong to see the progression of your people, who also do not have much funding to pursue their ambition to the fullest due to the same people who claim you to be "inciting racism".

There is absolutely nothing wrong with promoting Black owned businesses. Ever. Actually, I feel like it’s one’s duty to support Black owned businesses FIRST whenever possible. Loving and supporting one’s own is not racist at all. Doing the opposite is a form of self-hate in my opinion.
