Yakuza 0 is the long awaited Prequel to the Yakuza series. Kiryu, a member of the Dojima Yakuza clan was given a job to rough up someone for not paying back a loan. After meeting with his friend Nishiki, he hears on the news that the guy that he beat up not only died, but it was said to be a HOMICIDE. But Kiryu didn't beat the guy up enough for death and word is that the guy was SHOT.

The most important question is: If Kiryu didn't kill that man, WHO DID?
