Let's Talk - Generational Wealth:
Financial assets that are passed on and built upon with each generation within a family, are particularly important to future financial security. It’s the foundation for opportunities and access to better education, health, jobs and more.
Black Americans have an annual spending power of over $1 trillion but the average household in our community only have about $11k of wealth. There are studies that show that by 2053, the avergae wealth for black families will fall to zero if the gap continues to widen at its current pace. On the flip side the average wealth for white Americans is 12 times higher than that of black Americans at around $140,000, and the inequality in wealth continues to grow and widen with each generation.
How do we began building generational wealth within our families and communities? Lets talk! Share you thoughts, ideas, comments, knowledge, etc below.
Thank you for applying your Gift of Technology to bless our communities with Black Junction King Yusuf! I know this amazing network is in it's growth stages. I unequivocally, intend to rally support from my family, Extended-Family and Dear Friends, within the Arts, Entertainment and many other Elite Social Arenas with financial support. Also, with migrating their businesses to the BJ Network. Not an easy task. Yet, not an impossible one.✊🏽😊
Whats up family...I want to start using this area on the site to start a dialogue with the community. Black Junction is a new site and we are still building, growing and learning. Unlike most social sites, where you are connecting with your friends and family, most of the people on this site dont know each other yet. This makes interacting with each other is a little harder. So Im going to post a topic of discussion in this area of the site every week or so. Please leave a comment with a topic you would like to discuss (or send it to me in a PM) and Ill pick a couple and post them in this area of the site so we can hopefully start some community dialogue and get to know each other.
